I have been taking lessons with Greg for the last two years. My handicap has come down four strokes. Greg’s style of teaching fit me very well and I am happy to endorse him.

My experience with Greg has been wonderful. I take at least 5 minutes to swing at one ball, and Greg has been nothing but patient with me. His schedule has been flexible, and he is always willing to help when I practice. He is very encouraging and I can tell he wants to help me reach my goals. I will definitely continue to take lessons and recommend Greg to my friends and colleagues.

Greg has been an excellent swing coach. I came in for a few lessons as I couldn’t break 100 much. After 10 lessons I am consistently in the high 80’s and low 90’s. If I only had time for more practice and lessons I could be a scratch golfer in 6 months with his instruction. My irons were my weakness and I am now rocketing them into the sky with a great little left to right draw and a soft bounce or two onto the green. A great golf shot like that makes the game fun and addictive. Greg is highly highly recommended!

I have never played a lot of golf, nor have I ever taken any golf lessons. At the age of 70, my game was what it was. My wife gave me a set of clubs for my last birthday and I felt I owed it to her to improve my game. Greg Shelnutt was referred to me by a local golf driving range. I have had 3 lessons so far and I can honestly say that Greg’s teaching style will definitely improve my game. His knowledge and technical skills are superb. While I won’t be going on tour anytime soon, I will, without a doubt, begin to really enjoy golf.

I really enjoyed working with Greg. Even though his rates are cheaper than average, his knowledge and expertise are just as valuable as the other places I’ve gone too. I highly recommend Greg as he has taken my scores from the 90’s to consistently shooting in the mid 70’s – low 80’s (depending on how I play :-)).

Greg is a extraordinarily gifted teacher. His teaching style is patient, thoughtful, and informal. I’ve had several golf teachers during the last 20 years, and Greg is, by far, the best teacher that I’ve had. We’ve been working on my game for about six months and I have vastly improved. He is especially adept at analyzing how I am approaching my stance and my swing, among other things, of course. And offers suggestions and demonstrations to help me transfer what I learn during my lesson to the practice range. I have absolutely no suggestions of “what could have been better.” Greg is my ideal of a great teacher.

I had all but given up on the thought of golfing until I received some great instruction and coaching from Gerg Shelnutt. I am amazed at how much I’ve improved in just a few months. I can now go play and actually enjoy it. Thanks Greg.

Greg at Greenlife has helped me tremendously. I have been playing golf now for 10 years and have always shot in the low 90’s. My daughters gave me for fathers day 10 lessons. At first I did not think I needed them but went ahead and tried them out. The first day I got there Greg let me hit a few balls, then he went to work. He was like a bird dog he found problems right away with my swing. We made a few adjustments and I was striking the ball like a pro. I finished my 10 lessons and I can honestly say that my golf game has gotten better by 5-10 strokes.Since my lessons I am shooting mid 80’s on a regular basis. I wold absolutely recommend GreenLife to any of my friends. On top of the good advice I can tell you that Greg was a pleasure to work and at times a bit comical. If your looking to hire someone for golf lessons, I am sure that there are other good golf pros out there but I would give GreenLife a shot.

Greg Shelnutt is a patient instructor, I always felt that I wanted someone to work with me on my golf swing and that’s what Greg was able to provide. He didn’t change anything, but what he did was made me understand what I was capable of doing with the swing I had. I am a pretty good golfer (low 80’s) but now I am hitting more targets and that’s what Greg help me see in my golf swing. With some good practice time and playing a lot of golf, I am playing some of the best golf to date. Greg and I played a round of golf and if anyone ever needs a playing lesson, Greg plays well and he isn’t overbearing on the course, after my round I shot one of my best rounds. Thanks Greg.
